CBDT EXTENDS THE DUE DATE FOR FILING VARIOUS INCOME TAX AUDIT REPORTS FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2024-25 TO 31ST OCTOBER 2025
The specified date for furnishing various Audit reports for financial year 2024-25 in respect of assesses referred to in explanation 2(a) of Section 139(1) has been extended from 30th September 2025 to 31ST October 2025.
As per section 139(1) read with section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961 the due date for filing of Tax Audit Reports by tax payers being Company and others required to get accounts audited under Income Tax Act, 1961 or under any other law or working partners of firm required to be audited under any law is the 30th September of the following year
